Description
The alpacas are tame, sly and pass human, and in addition to wild species, there are a considerable number of domesticated species. They are widely used by Indians as a means of servitude and are suitable for captive breeding. They are one of the important livestock species in South America. Alpaca`s hair is longer than wool, bright and flexible, can be made of high-grade wool fabrics. There are about 3 million in the world, and about 90% of them live in the highlands of Peru and Chile in South America.
